BOATS IN THE TIME OF COLERA

It has been an interesting summer, a summer without crowds and big noises…very quiet and reflecting.

Where mass tourism usually invades beaches, land and sea, this year not many tourists made it, to visit the beautiful island of Corfu.

And myself, I spend the summer enjoying peace on the beaches with my photo camera in hand to catch all the boat owners and captains on their small, big and enormous vessels. Here are a few.

THOUSANDS OF SEA SHELLS

London-based multimedia sculptor Rowan Mersh creates mesmerizing textural artworks with seashells. The seashells are from sustainable shellfish farmers and harvesters from around the world.

LAMPS ARE NOT ONLY LAMPS

To find a good looking lamp it is really difficult.

They might be too bright or

don’t give at all light,

they might not be so decorative or can also be really ugly.

This one, kind of has it all, and when all the brothers and sisters join in,

they pattern beautifully.

And it is all about the eye, the seeing, a “Wink” with pink eye lashes hanging from the sealing from the Spanish creative agency Masquespacio in collaboration with Houtique.
