If I could choose to be an animal, I would be a “Gabbiano” (Italian word for seagull).

There are days when he is flying far out to welcome boats and ships of any kind and there are days when he sits in the harbour waiting to get a snack from his friends, the people.

Sometimes lonely, sometimes in the middle of the happenings, always close to the sea.

It is not a case that the name I chose is Lili Gabbiano. Never be locked in a cage, says the gabbiano. “gabbia no”, (“gabbia” is the Italian word for cage)

No cage, no prison, no rules, just freedom over the sea.
