Today my eyes got caught by something blue, a twist of magical, hairy, fury, plated drawings by Winnie Truong.

A skull, illustrated and created out of two mirrored ladies and a huge amount of hair. Fashion illustrator Laura Laine (from Helsinki) is an amazing detailed artist. She works as a free-lance illustrator (with clients as ELLE, ZARA, THE GUARDIAN…) and she teaches fashion illustration at the university.
I’ve been traveling a bit through her work and the thing which attracted me the most is the focus and details of the hair.
Freedom of hair…
Any kind of cut, style, length and flow.
The choice of the color, the cut the way we comb it…
Our identity…we get born with none…we get a lot, they look sick when we are, we change them when we decide to change inside, they get grey when we get old…
We lose them, we wear wigs, we admire people with beautiful hair…
Hair, a big play in our life…
I’ve selected a few illustrations of Laura’s work and put them together…I would call it FOCUS ON HAIR…enjoy…
