A QUESTION ABOUT FREEDOM

Beautiful, the first image. So strong and light….not innocent, more wise.

This is about a designer, Lilia Yip, based in the UK, born in Singapore.

Her designs are for the intelligent woman who has an inquisitive mind, a big heart and a sense of humour.

She balances the wearable, the surreal and the conceptual, always ready to challenge pre-conceived notions of what fashion should be in a quiet way.

The choice of the model, the colors, the light, the garments, the designers explanation ….created a fairytale out of the images and I tried to put them together as one little photostory…enjoy!

If you want to see more from the collection and meet the designer better, you can click here (it will bring you to the website of MUUSE, a great place to find young talented designers.)

FABIANA + VICTORIA = FABITORIA

Taipei, Taiwan…Day two…there is a lot going on over there at the moment, I just wrote about bags yesterday, from Taipei and today I have something more…again 2 girls, Fabiana + Victoria = FABITORIA…again a great idea. Digital print is so nice, plus if you combine it with great cuts, use images which are as surreal, funny, cute, quirky, natural, chic and artistic as this ones … plus… you add a little bit of this hmmmm…plastic looking material…you could come out with these results…

I saw these images yesterday at Susie Bubble’s blog and I couldn’t resist to write about the skirts today, they are too beautiful to just let them pass by and as Susie says…very difficult to pick one…I think I would go for the STAINED GLASS WINDOW…and You ?

You can wear them on both sides, there is either the image one one or the 2 pockets on the other…on most of them…

…Elisabeth I… with pink glasses…

…the giraffe coming out of the sea…

…flower…blooming…

 …highway…and ? shells ? balloons ?…red…(I need glasses :()

…stained glass window…(the one I would choose)

…a dragonfly flying over a landscape dress…

There are a total of 12 skirts…I didn’t show all of them but you can go to find them at FABITORIA if you want, or at Susie Bubble‘s. In the meantime, here are all of them, small and cute, in the line.
